Info for 10/12/24 Franklin HS Parade Competition

Field Trip Paperwork: Marching band and color guard students received their field trip packet for the 3 competitions on Friday, Sep 27th. Please turn in ASAP!

Transportation: Students are to meet at Franklin High School with their instrument/equipment and uniform. Please let Ms. Fonseca know ASAP if you/your child needs a ride or you need help transporting equipment.

Food: At this time we do not have parents signed up to provide or pick up lunch for students, so students should plan to bring a packed lunch or bring money to purchase lunch at the concession stand.

Uniform: Students will need to bring their uniform bag, hat box, and shoe box to the competition. They should wear comfortable clothing (such as a WC t-shirt and shorts) to wear under the uniform. Students also must wear long black socks so their ankles to not show. Students with long hair will need to have their hair secured and neat underneath the hat.

Schedule for WC Students:

9:45am – Meet at Franklin HS, start body warm up

10:00am – Change into uniforms

10:15am – Horn warm up

11:05am – Line up for parade competition

11:35am – Start of performance

11:55am – Change out of uniforms

12:15pm – Each lunch

1:00pm – Walk over to performance area and watch parade
